The magic is in the mix – Kreuzberg alternative types and mascara-drenched, scarf wearing Turkish girls both all enjoy Café Morgenland, which is loud, busy, and usually quite a spectacle. The kitchen serves large meals at fair prices: fried potatoes with dip, salads or chicken breast with a side of vegetables (€6.50-9.50). The weekend brunch buffet also motley: couscous and crêpes, muesli and muffins, Turkish pastries and Italian antipasti (from 10 am to 3:30 pm, €9). (tbp, 18 Jan 2007)
